Lagos Muslims Condemn Killing For Islam

Over 100 Muslim faithful marched through the streets of Lagos on Tuesday, in condemnation of any act of violence, maiming and killing in the name of Islam in the country, especially the activities of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram.



The march was part of activities of Lagos Muslims, who joined the rest of the world to celebrate Nabil Maolud, in commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammed, in 570 AD in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The faithful insisted that Islam was a religion of peace, and anyone killing in the name of Islam is not doing what the religion preaches.
